About the Author
Born in Tynemouth, Northumberland in 1939, Violet King spent the war years in Evenwood in County Durham returning to Northumberland in 1945.She attended Blyth Grammar School before enrolling in King Edwards School in Witley, Surrey.
After leaving school she combined raising a family with a career in accounts and personnel management, in London, before making the decision to train as a counsellor in the 90’s.
Violet combines both her wealth of life experiences as a wife and a mother with her qualifications as a counsellor to provide clients and readers with an effective approach to dealing with their problems.
Today, she and her husband live in Spain where Violet offers counselling services and is a regular contributor to several English publications.
