What customers say about
Moyhill Publishing

The design work that David did for my novel, Voices in the Wilderness was excellent. It had a directness and a simplicity which was exactly what I needed. It expressed perfectly the central theme of the book. I remember my instinctive reaction the first time I saw the design. Yesssssss!

You may be interested to hear that I have just received a reply to my letter to ***** Print. In the time between my letter and their answer, you have taken us from preliminary discussion to print ready! Nuff said.

If you should have a hesitant client who would like to speak to a satisfied customer, by all means refer them to me.

As a first time author and publisher, I had no idea how my book should be designed and set out. The assistance and advice I received from Moyhill was both timely and first class and the quality of the end product, excellent. I would certainly have full confidence in using Moyhill’s design and publishing services again

I am totally grateful to Sally and David Cronin for their dynamic input towards the end of writing “Coke on the Rocks”. You came along at just the right time guys!

A million thanks for all that you and Moyhill have done for me. You put the polish on this novel.

Lucy Wright - Coke on the Rocks

Colin Peck - Enrico Albyvendie

I published my first book in May 2004 and now I look back on this, I realise that it would not have been possible without the efforts and special attention I received from both Sally and David Cronin of Moyhill Publishing. Publishing a book, especially if its your first time, can be both frustrating and even a little scary, and one of the biggest problems is the layout and physical aspect of the book before printing.

My book layout was done by David Cronin, an outstanding professional who devoted countless hours of his time so the book would be and “feel” just right, and one of the most perfectionist persons I have ever met. David helped me along the way providing ideas as well as actually doing the entire layout for my book, and his watchful eye was always on the lookout with the aim of producing a work that would truly satisfy me and my readers. My book finally came out at the expected deadline due to the Cronin’s inmmense efforts, with many less headaches than I expected (as really Moyhill Publishing has always had my best interests in mind and have watched over me and my book), and won first prize in a design competition!

I am really pleased with how things have turned out, and I must say that if I had to summarize Moyhill Publishing with a few words, these would be; quality above all, personal attention, and results. It has been wonderful to work with them and looking forward to it in the future with my upcoming books.

A book is a very special thing, often containing our hopes, parts of our lives, our thoughts and most importantly our dreams. I could not think of anyone else besides Moyhill publishing for making the reality of a book come true...

Beatriz Candíl García - The Redtailed Hawk

The book was my first novel, therefore my knowledge of what was involved in having a book published was close to zero.

I was fortunate in my dealings with the publisher to have at my disposal the services of David Cronin, who guided me through the minefield with skill and patience. He advised me on all aspects of putting a book together in order to get the best presentation possible, and I was particularly impressed with his ability to conceive, design and produce the cover of the book. Throughout the time we worked together on my project he was always diligent and thoughtful ready to explain things I did not understand, and come up with original ideas and suggestions when needed. He was a pleasure to work with, and I came to look upon him as a friend. I would have no hesitation in recommending his talents to anyone.

Don Hargreaves - The Copy Business

Has a strange person ever helped you? Has that person done the right work for you? In my case, the answer is not only “yes, he has,” but also “yes, an extraordinary work.”

I have just published a book with Trafford, and I am almost sure I would not have been able to do it without the help of David, a person whom I have never met. From the first moment I emailed David, I received his technical advice, support, and work. I only had to suggest something (shape, colour, cover, whatever) and there was David to do that for me, and what´s more, to do that just perfectly.

The sentence “you know people for their deeds” has never been truer.

Camilo Ogando Vazquez - Memoirs of a Peasant Boy

The author writes the story that attracts the reader and the designer provides the format and presentation which becomes the book.

The first time that I saw a “For Sale” copy on my book I knew that David was among the best in his business.

Jack Ames The Cyber State Two Thousand Ninety Five

When I decided to self publish my first book, I had no idea the amount of work involved in preparing the manuscript for publication. I had a vision in my head that had grown with every page that I had written, but my biggest problem was finding someone to put that vision into the practical version that was needed.

My husband David was working full-time then, but took the project on as he certainly had the skills for the job. That was two years ago and since then David has not only designed my second book but has used his skills to transform many other author’s visions into books. I would trust no-one else with my work.

We decided to form Moyhill Publishing and both of us are committed to providing the very highest level of service to other writers.
